Who says Halloween is all about the kids??? Thanks to our friend Scott Fitzgerald, we got this picture. I was so busy with the party that I didn't take 1 picture!!! Thank goodness, b/c I put so much work into these costumes. I wish you could see the back of our capes. It was such a great turnout! Thank you to everyone who came and really got into the Halloween Spirit!
This year we dressed Preston up as a giraffe. My mother-in-law Jeanette bought this witch this year and when Preston saw it he Freaked Out and started crying!
I guess he realized she wasn't real b/c when we went to Grandma and Grandpa's to trick or treat I was quite surprised Preston stood next to her. He's even holding her foot! They're good friends now.
Baby got back. I love the tail and mohawk of his costume.
This is Preston with his cousins, Cydnie and Hunter right before trick-or-treating. Preston adores Cydnie! She is his favorite as you can probably tell!!

We walked up to this house that was decorated head-to-toe and had fog, sound and lighting affects. It was really cool and this is Preston's wide-eyed expression :O
Future Clyde Company employee! This was cute. Tyler dressed Preston up in all his construction gear. This is what Ty will wear when he has to go out to the actual job sites. I think it looks cuter on Preston ;o)
This was taken by Scott again! What would we do without the Fitzgeralds! This was taken at the Ward Halloween Party. Tyler and I didn't feel like putting on the Lycra stretchy suits again so we wore our San Diego Padres gear and came as "Padres Fans" ...kinda lame, I know! But it was this or nothing at all. It was a long, tiring month with all the partying and still being in my 1st trimester of pregnancy.

I'm too sexy for my clothes...

This is something Preston does by his own free will and choice. It's too funny, but my son loves make-up, shoes, lotions and potions... I don't think he actually likes these things, he just likes to get into them. He puts my shoes on and walks around the house and I must say, he walks pretty well in high heels for a toddler. I don't have a shoe organizer in my closet so I keep all my shoes on the floor and Preston has a hay day playing with them so they're always in a jumbled mess. He is such a funny kid and this picture will be great to show to his friends when he gets older;o)

Preston's Food Strike

Monday was an eventful day for me! Preston, who by the way seemed to be acting perfectly normal, randomly threw up. We managed to get most of it in the trash can (thank goodness the kid is tall! It was the perfect height for him). I gave him a bath, put yummy baby lotion on him and cuddled and soothed him to make him feel better. Then he puked again and for the rest of the day wouldn't eat anything, not that I blame him. Once he got everything out of his system he was back to laughing and acting totally normal. weird. But! It's wednesday night now and he has hardly eaten a thing since then! He's had plenty apple juice, water, and "kambucha" so he is getting his fluids but I'm paranoid. I'm praying he'll wake up tomorrow with his healthy appetite back in order. It's like he is on a literal food strike or this is his way of fasting. It'a making me crazy!!!

Thriller

Last night Tyler and I went to see "Thriller" put on by the Odyssey Dance Theatre. It was soooo good!! I've been wanting to go every year since I moved here but I always missed my opportunity. This was the first year they came to Provo (At the Covey Center) so we were glad we didn't have to drive up to Salt Lake to see it. This is going to be a new tradition for us now. The last showing in Provo is tonight otherwise you'll have to go up to SL. Get tickets and go! You will absolutely LOVE it!!
Also, "Matt" from last season's So You Think You Can Dance performed throughout the Thriller production. It was so cool to see him, he is very talented

Farm Country
.jpg)
Last week I took Preston to Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point. It is the neatest place to take your little ones. They had goats, horses, chickens, pigs, cows... pretty much every farm animal you could think of. I'd never heard of it before and I'm so glad my friend Charity told us about it. Preston was so funny! He kept making the animal noises whenever he'd see them. In this picture he kept "naying" like a horse but he was so excited that it was a high pitched "heeeeee!" Next time I'm taking the video camera. It was too funny for words.
