We had a fun 4th of July this year... We traditionally attended the provo parade and thankfully my sister lives one street over from the parade so we were able to get close parking ;o) Then the Clyde's got us tickets to the Stadium of Fire. The Jonas Brother's were adorable but I didn't know any of their songs. They did, however, sing "Sweet Caroline" and it will be fun to tell our daughter that at her first concert the Jonas Brother's sang her song. We sing it to her all the time and even Preston knows the words and sings it to his little sister. So it was fun, here are some pitures at the parade.

Silly Faces ;O)
I'm still trying to figure out this mom of 2 kids thing... everyday I tell Tyler that we're done!;o) What's tough right now is the sleep deprivation and feeling like Caroline's milk wagon 24-7. It's difficult going out anymore unless I have someone to help ;o) I know all this is temporary and won't last long. Despite how challenging things are, I am absolutely in LOVE with my kids! Preston is my best little helper and he's really enjoying his little sister. He can't stop kissing her. Caroline is starting to adapt somewhat to a schedule and hopefully she'll be sleeping through the night soon!! I love all of my daughter's many expressions. They make me laugh! Here are some pictures of her first month...

Caroline Elizabeth Clyde
Born May 15th * 6 lbs 7oz * 19.25"
I was induced and my labor was only 2.5 hrs. I think I pushed maybe 5 times? I'm glad I didn't go natural b/c I went from a 5 to a 10 in 30 minutes... grateful I didn't have to feel that! It all happened so fast and it was a night & day experience from Preston's delivery (which pushing alone took 2.5hrs). We are amazed at the color and amount of hair she has. Preston had the same color and see how he's turned out? We're so grateful she's Finally here and in our arms!!

Caroline's Baby Nursery... Finally some pictures!!!
Well this is what I've been up to lately and why I've been checked out of the blogging world for the past month... Decorating our babie's nursery. It's still a work in progress b/c I haven't purchased the wall paper yet and I still want to buy a chandlier. But I'm so happy with the colors and how it's all come together. I had a wonderful, sweet girl named Murvy make all my baby bedding thanks to Kattie who referred me to her... a task I wasn't feeling up to doing myself and she did such a fantastic job! She custom makes bedding to whatever your liking and the best part, she only charged me $100 for everything. She made us the crib skirt, bumper, 2 sets of sheets, and 4 decorative pillows. Her info:

This is my very first quilt!! It took me way long to finish but it turned out better than I'd hoped. My sweet mother-in-law Jeanette helped me out a lot and let me use her sewing machine. I wouldn't have finished it if it weren't for her. She's awesome. And now i have my own sewing machine thanks to my mom!! So I'm excited to do more projects!!!
I made this square pillow... my first pillow ;o)
When I found this mirror at an antique mall it was love at first sight!!! I'm going to hang this up behind the baby glider. Look at that happy boy... he's so excited for his sister to come. He talks about Caroline everyday ;o)

ZZZzzz...
Man I'm exhausted! I feel like I'm in my 1st trimester of pregnancy again. I probably slept a good 10-11 hours last night and all I wanted to do today was sleep some more! Preston has a big boy bed now and I fell asleep on it while he was playing in his room with his toys... He kept saying "come-on mommy" every other minute to get me to play with him. I felt so bad b/c most of our day consisted of Preston watching Curious George 4-5 times (the cartoon, not the movie), playing by himself with his toys, and me trying to get rest any opportunity I could. The past few days have been like this... Isn't this feeling supposed to happen after the baby is born? Geesh.
