Caroline's Baby Nursery... Finally some pictures!!!

Well this is what I've been up to lately and why I've been checked out of the blogging world for the past month... Decorating our babie's nursery. It's still a work in progress b/c I haven't purchased the wall paper yet and I still want to buy a chandlier. But I'm so happy with the colors and how it's all come together. I had a wonderful, sweet girl named Murvy make all my baby bedding thanks to Kattie who referred me to her... a task I wasn't feeling up to doing myself and she did such a fantastic job! She custom makes bedding to whatever your liking and the best part, she only charged me $100 for everything. She made us the crib skirt, bumper, 2 sets of sheets, and 4 decorative pillows. Her info:

This is my very first quilt!! It took me way long to finish but it turned out better than I'd hoped. My sweet mother-in-law Jeanette helped me out a lot and let me use her sewing machine. I wouldn't have finished it if it weren't for her. She's awesome. And now i have my own sewing machine thanks to my mom!! So I'm excited to do more projects!!!

I made this square pillow... my first pillow ;o)

When I found this mirror at an antique mall it was love at first sight!!! I'm going to hang this up behind the baby glider. Look at that happy boy... he's so excited for his sister to come. He talks about Caroline everyday ;o)

What a cute nursery! You have such an eye for design. And your quilt is gorgeous! You'll have to share some tips for those of us who are still trying to figure quilting out.

I know I already told you I loved it but really, it is so cute! The pictures you posted just dont do it justice, you should have a "Caroline Nursery" openhouse so people can really get close and see how cute it is. I am gettin real excited to see her.

Your nursery is amazing! I love that you aren't a pink girl. Because as I write Spencer is painting Aliah's room pink. I WILL be calling the girl that made your bedding!!
