Man I'm exhausted! I feel like I'm in my 1st trimester of pregnancy again. I probably slept a good 10-11 hours last night and all I wanted to do today was sleep some more! Preston has a big boy bed now and I fell asleep on it while he was playing in his room with his toys... He kept saying "come-on mommy" every other minute to get me to play with him. I felt so bad b/c most of our day consisted of Preston watching Curious George 4-5 times (the cartoon, not the movie), playing by himself with his toys, and me trying to get rest any opportunity I could. The past few days have been like this... Isn't this feeling supposed to happen after the baby is born? Geesh.

Preston's 1st Movie
Tonight I decided to take Preston out for a night on the town since Daddy had to take his last final tonight (Wooo! Yeeeaaaaya! Go Tyler).
We saw Monster vs. Aliens and I'd like to say that it was a good movie but I didn't get to watch a good portion of it due to my 2 yr old... Who takes their 2 yr old to the movies?!! Oh yea, Me! I thought I'd try it thinking he'd be content enough to sit their and enjoy eating popcorn and candy. Nope.
(Sarah- the whole thing I said about "terrible twos" I take it back! Because tonight Preston was TERRIBLE!!!)
Luckily we sat between 2 couples who were so understanding and forgiving. Here's a play-by-play of the night: At first Preston was mesmorized by the big screen and big seat. He sat in it fine (except he wasn't quite heavy enough for the seat cushion to go down all the way. We fixed that with a booster). We ate popcorn and he yelled out things he saw on the screen like, "Moon!", "Angurber!"(hamburger), "Rock!", "UH-OH!", "OH NO!"... all of these were followed by Preston turning to the couple next to us telling them, "Shhh!" after I'd shoosh him and ask him to be soft. I rarely give him candy but I kept cramming it in his mouth tonight to get the kid to be quiet. This must have given him a sugar high b/c he couldn't keep still! He kept going to both couples sitting beside us and sitting on their laps!!!! I was So Embarrassed! One couple were grandparents with their well behaved and older grandkids and the other must have been parents b/c they handled Preston fine. Well a good 3/4 in the movie he threw a horrible tantrum spilling the popcorn all over and knocking me in the face with his head all b/c he wanted to get down and run around. That was it for me. I picked him up and the last shred of dignity I had and left. It was a night from HELL. I'm not taking him to another movie... EVER!

My Pregnancy Status
I had another ultrasound last week to check on the placenta and see where we were at with everything.
...Going back to my 21 week ultrasound, the Dr was concerned that my placenta was too close to the opening of my cervix, which if it did cover it eventually I'd have "placenta previa" or partial placenta previa and have to deliver Cesarean section.
Well, last weeks ultrasound revealed no placenta near the cervix. I was so releaved! It had moved up as hoped and prayed for... I wanted to jump off the table and do a victory dance! I'm 31 weeks pregnant right now so I had to wait a frustrating and stressful 10 weeks to find out this news.
Even though I'm so releaved that I don't have to deliver c-section, I'm not completely in the clear. I have to go back next week for another ultrsound screening. The Dr is a little concerned with the babies size b/c she's measuring rally small for how far along I am (about 3 lbs). He wants to measure her growth and see how she's progressing in size. I'm not too terribly worried as long as she doesn't try to come early! Preston was born 2 days late and only weighed 6 lbs. I just have small babies and my Mom also had small babies. I was only about 6 lbs as well. Like I said, if she'll just hang tight and continue bakin in mama's oven for then next 8 weeks then everything will be just fine. I would love to have a fat chuncky baby but honestly, I'm really grateful I only have to push out 6lb babies.

Technologically handicaped
So the reason I haven't posted anything new in a while is because we got a new computer and my camera is not compatible with something... I don't know. Basically I can't upload any of my photos on my computer until i buy some dumb software from Polaroid and I'm annoyed. I have a lot of pictures I want to share and updates to give so until I figure out that mess don't expect a lot of posts from us. But for those who are curious and who we haven't seen around in a while here are some updates:
My birthday was last monday... unfortunately I spent the day sick but was able to celebrate it by going to dinner and a Jazz game (pictures coming soon)
Preston got his 1st ear infection and that was fun. He's finally back to his happy normal self and being cute ;o)
We've started attending our new ward... it'a actually a branch and so far we like it. Except that they called us after attending 1 week to give sacrament talks this sunday... they don't waist any time! I got called to be a primary teacher and I'm excited about that b/c I've never worked in primary and I think it will be fun. Oh and I only have to teach every other sunday so I can still attend relief society and get to know the sisters. Ty's still waiting to receive his calling.
And of course, my baby and I are growing everyday! I have some pictures of my belly that I want to post so those are coming soon as well ;o)
We miss our friends in our old ward. Please keep in touch and don't forget us!!

Traumatic Morning!
I was at Joanne's craft store this morning trying to pick out some fabric for our baby's new bedding and Preston was being all kinds of difficult. I had Preston in a grocery cart but he hates being strapped in the child designated seat. In my desperation to get the kid to stop whining I took him out and let him sit in the back of the basket... Big mistake. Preston stood up and fell backwards out of the cart. As he was falling he turned and put his arms out to break his fall. He managed to land on his right side sorta face down. I saw all this happen as I was standing 2 feet away unable to catch him. I picked him up and his nose started gushing blood and he was sobbing! Then blood clots started coming out of his nose and that freaked me out. All I could do was cry with him b/c I was so worried and I felt so horrible that he had gotten hurt due to my negligence. I took him in to the doctor right away and he's okay but it was very traumatizing for him and me. It sucked having to explain how he fell to the nurse and doctor b/c they were probably thinking that I was a crappy mom for not strapping him in the cart. All is well now. I definately learned from this experience and in the future I won't give into the fit. I'm sure Preston's learned that he can get big "owies" for not sitting down in the grocery cart.
